More than 80,000 lush plants, flowers and mature trees embellish the landscape of Andalusia Country Club's private championship East Course, the first of two private courses here. Hundreds of date palms rustle in the breeze. Olive trees honor the Club's Spanish namesake. And a monumental rock waterfall welcomes players to the 18th green. With five sets of tees, the East Course measures 7,521 yards from the back tees and 5,489 from the forward tees, with course ratings from 76.0 to 66.6.

Canyon Country Club has the unique distinction of being chartered in the early 1960's by some of Hollywood's most notable celebrities.

A beautifully designed public golf facility by David Rainville, the Cathedral Canyon Country Club offers three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The greens are slightly sloped, but considered by locals as among the best in the area. The fairways vary in width, and you can see most of the greens from off the tee boxes.

The history of Desert Falls Country Club includes the inaugural course for the Frank Sinatra Celebrate Open and the Don Drysdale Celebrity Open. Desert Falls is one of only five courses in the desert that has earned a 145 slope rating (or higher), and remains a PGA qualifying course. Ironwood Country Club features championship golf on either of the Club's two acclaimed courses. Built in the late 1960s Marrakesh Country Club is one of the oldest country clubs in the desert with 364 homes. Homes are situated around the golf course and lakes at Marrakesh, located just off Portola in South Palm Desert. The 18-hole "Santa Rosa" course at the Santa Rosa Country Club facility in Palm Desert, California features 5,443 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 67. The course rating is 65.6 and it has a slope rating of 103. Designed by Leonard Gerkins, the Santa Rosa golf course opened in 1978. Brent Grindeland manages the course as the Director of Golf.

Stone Eagle is the first Tom Doak-designed course in California. Doak currently has three courses ranked in the top 50 of Golf Magazine's Top 100 courses in the world. Golfers take a scenic cart drive up a narrow canyon arriving at the spectacular mountaintop course. The course routing provides a challenging range of elements that incorporate the dramatic desert landscape and, in an unusual twist, Doak added a 19th hole.

Sun City Palm Desert is a Par 72, championship golf course comprised of two 18-hole courses. Landscape features include more than 20 lakes, waterfalls, hundreds of palm trees and views of threesurrounding mountain ranges. The course was designed by architect Greg Nash and PGA Hall of Fame member Billy Casper. It also features a golf shop, grill, and practice facilities including a driving range and putting greens.

Rolling terrain and contoured fairways. Lots of water, both scenic and in play. Tif-sport greens, 30 to 35 yards deep. Numerous large "whale tail" bunkers. Beautiful desert landscaping.

Sunrise Country Club offers a highly rated par 64 Executive Golf Course designed by Ted Robinson. It is a challenging and beautifully maintained private course, owned by the members. Thunderbird Country Club, an instant celebrity haven, was the first 18-hole golf course in the Coachella Valley and it has a history that is mind-boggling. When the golf course opened on Jan. 9, 1951, it made instantaneous unforgettable tracks in what would become one of the world's premier golf locations. Thunderbird was the original site of what eventually became the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.

The Citrus at La Quinta, although conceived some 15 years ago, is in fact one of the Coachella Valley’s newer communities. It is walled and gate guarded and occupies a large tract at the NW corner of the intersection of Jefferson Street and Avenue 52.

The Citrus Golf, Tennis and Spa Resort is a private golf community which features the Mountain Course, the Dunes Course, the Citrus Course itself, a practice range and putting greens. Many rate the Pete Dye designed Citrus course the finest in the desert. As of this writing, 418 homes have been built out of the 544 planned for eventual build-out. At the current rate of construction, this will occur in the first quarter of 2002. Most homes are PUD single-family residences, although they include a group of 40 condos in a sub-association known as the Cayman. Also included are 70 lots set aside for custom homes.

The Hideaway's golf memberships are invitation-only, private equity memberships providing an exclusive golf environment of less than 290 members per 18-holes of golf. The courses' gently rolling fairways are lined by water and sand, or punctuated by waterfalls and bunkers, leading to beautifully manicured greens. Each hole is unique and memorable, the type you'll want to replay shot-by-shot on the 19th hole or at dinner that night. The Club features two distinct and dramatic, par 72, 18 hole courses, designed by famed British architect Clive Clark and the legendary Pete Dye. Both the Clark and Dye are meticulously landscaped and maintained, with extensive use of wildflowers, waterfalls, lakes and streams to create playable, yet visually dramatic courses. The Clive Clark plays to nearly 7,000 yards from the championship tees and to 5,200 yards from the forward tees, while the the Pete Dye plays to over 7,100 yards from the championship tees and to 5,100 yards from the forward tees.

The Lakes C.C. was built in 1983 with a 3rd nine added in 1988. We have 27 beautifully-manicured holes. They comprise what are called the North-East, East-South, and South-North Courses. The North and East Nines wind through the homes with many double-wide fairways. The South Nine has more contour as it was built without homes. The Black tees range from 6419 to 6689 yards, and the Gold Tees from 6022 to 6273 yards. The Silver Tees range from 5400 to 5695 yards, and the Bronze from 4699 to 5054 yards. All courses play to par 72.We have a full range of year-long tournament activity for men, lady 18-holers, and lady 9-holers. The golf staff will take care of all your golfing needs and provides a full line-up of clinics, individual lessons, as well as a fully-stocked golf shop. The practice facilities include a full range, short-game area, chipping green, and two putting greens.

This spectacular jewel is a Tom Fazio design at which no expense was spared. The club will be by invitation only, very exclusive, and will be one of the best places to live anywhere in the world. Fazio and Meldman have created a unique and dramatic desert course at the Madison Club. From the back tee on the eighth hole, a particularly impressive par 5, the view is framed on the right side by a placid lake; tall pines rim the horizon; and a babbling stream winds around from behind the distant green, splitting the fairway in two.

The Palms is a core golf course, which features traditional design with dramatic bunkering, ample driving areas, and smallish greens. More than 2,000 mature date palm trees give it a very mature look. The Palms has a state of the art practice facility, with a double-ended driving range, target greens, a fairway, an 8,000 square foot practice putting green, and a 12,000 square foot short game green for chipping, pitching, and bunker practice. The single-level clubhouse is approximately 18,000 square feet, which includes 5,000 square feet of cart storage.

The course was designed by Fred Couples and Brian Curley. This is Freddy's tenth course and the second collaboration with Brian.

Renowned golf course architect, Tom Fazio, masterfully designed what is often referred to as the "Golfer's Golf Course."

By harnessing the three unique elevations offered by the site, he created three very distinct playing areas. There are seven holes on the quarry floor and 80 feet above at the alluvial fan, there are seven more.

The scenic vista of the mountain cove serves as the backdrop to the four holes found at the final elevation. Golfers playing the course will encounter gradual elevation of more than 300 feet as they experience the harmony that is nature and golf.

Nestled amid mountain crevasses and flowing subtly across ever-changing elevations, the 18 hole Tom Weiskopf/Jay Morrish golf course offers an abundance of both beauty and challenge.

Surrounded by the beautiful and majestic San Jacinto Mountains, The Springs' 18 hole golf course was designed by Desmond Muirhead, one of golf's finest golf course architects. Our 18-Hole Championship Golf Course has a consistently high quality of turf each year due to the care of our outstanding superintendent-Marvin Thompson.
